10 year Class Reunion

Steph and I had our 10 year class Reunion this weekend! Yes, we are getting old, huh?!?!? It also means that Steph and I have been together for 10 years....wow! It was great to see so many old friends and remember all of our high school times! We had a photobooth and let me just say it was quite a hit! Fun times!

Grand Isle was beautiful this weekend and it was fun to see Finn in the sand for the first time this year!! He loved it, just as I expected!!! I work hard to make sure he likes the sand since his Daddy is not the biggest fan, LOL!

One great weekend and week!!

We celebrated with Amber and Jacob for their beautiful wedding in New Orleans and headed to Costa Rica at 5am Sunday morning!! Needless to say, after drinking for 12 hours and going to bed at 3am, waking up at 4:30am to head to the airport was a good kick in the you know what but we all made it and in time!!!

Costa rica was amazing and definitely a trip that I would recommend to anyone who likes to relax and enjoy the beauty of rain forests, waterfalls, and adventure.
We spent at week at the Riu in Guanacaste and loved every minute of it!

18 month check up!!

Finn is becoming quite a tall boy thank goodness he is like his Daddy and not his short Momma!!! For his 18 month check up he weighed 27 lbs and measured 35 inches tall which is the 90th percentile....whatever that means!! The Dr said he is growing well and meeting all the things that little boys his age should! We love our Dr's but hopefully we can stay away from there until our 2 year old checkup:)

We are having the time of our lives with Finn and can hardly keep up with since he is full of energy and personality! And we knew it would happen and let me say it is in full effect...the terrible twos!!!! He is one stubborn boy and gets quite angry if he doesn't get his way! We are working through it with time outs and mean eyes from Mommy but sometimes its hard for me to keep a straight face:) No one told me how hard it was to be a Mommy sometimes! I have to say, it is not easy to fuse and punish your little angels, ha!

We are looking forward to a very fun and busy summer with many weekends spent in the pool and at the camp in Grand Isle. For now, Mommy and Daddy are headed to Costa Rica for the week with friends so Finn is getting ready to be spoiled by everyone!!!!!!!

Happy Mothers Day!

We had a wonderful Mother's Day in New Orleans. Steph, Finn, and I headed there on Friday to enjoy the quarter while Saturday we went to the Zoo and lunch with our families! It was great to be with everyone at the same time! I feel blessed to be a Mommy to my little Finn and to have so many giving mothers in my life, especially my Momma! Love all of you!!!

All about LoLo

So I pack up Finn and Chloe to head to the park! I'm thinking Finn will be so excied, he loves the little slide, and he will like that Chloe is there to watch him well......since I put Chloe on a leash(trying to be a responsible dog owner) and what do ya know? All Finn wants to do it walk Chloe around! Ugh! I tried to make him play, which he did for all of about 1 mintue and then said "LoLo walk" so I let him for a little while and then headed home! At least I tried:)
