AMEN!

We had a great Easter and it was just like we like it, busy, fun, and loaded with lots of family!!!! We headed to Diamondhead for the weekend and were later joined by the Raynals and the Taylors on Easter Sunday so it was really nice to have everyone together!!!!

I do not have many pictures since my camera is in the shop so the iphone pics will have to do! The first pic is of Finn in a precious outfit that Stephan wore when he was around 1 1/2! I love putting him in Steph's old outfits!

We all had so much fun chatting, drinking, dancing and eating together while Finn loved being spoiled by his Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins! The pool in Diamondhead is finished so we were all able to sit back and relax outside even PawPaw sat outside and enjoyed the sites!
On Sunday, we headed to church where Finn really did behave except for one little outburst!!!! To start off, while at MD Anderson, he learned the word AMEN and we often make him say it well.....at Easter Sunday mass the priest said Amen then the congregation followed with an AMEN then there was a short pause and then Finn yelled out AMEN! My eyes got really wide....Oh goodness.....but it was funny and the entire church laughed so it was okay! It really was cute! My sweet little man, what am I going to do with him.

On another note, Paw Paw is feeling great! I wish I had a picture. He is staying very active and has had a great appetite these days. While we were in Houston last week he received very good news that the chemo is working and is shrinking the tumors! AMEN!!!!!! The lord is good!

Good Friday!!

So far we have had a wonderful Good Friday. We headed to K and Papas for lunch and to go for a swim! K and Papa spoil Finn silly so we had lots of new toys to play with. Finn loved the pool and his new sand/water table and of course is fearless!!

We are headed to Diamondhead for the weekend to hang with the GRAVOIS clan! I hope everyone has a Happy Easter!!!!

Just another day in the hood

Trey, Caroline, and Joseph came to the neighborhood to play this afternoon and we had a blast!! Isabelle had a new kite and of course everyone had to have a turn!!! The kids kept letting go so the dads had to char after it!! Kinda funny!!

Sorry for the awful pics!! My Good camera is in the shop for 5 more weeks!!!!! Ughhhhhhh

Island time has started

Finn stayed with Nana and Pape in Grand Isle while Steph and I went to the beach. From the Looks of it, he had a blast fishing, beaching, exercising, and flying kites! Maw Maw, Pawpaw, Tru Tru and Uncle Chris were there too!

Lucky spoiled boy had all of their attention!

1 1/2 really?!?!?!

My little man turned 18 months yesterday and I still can't believe it!!! I know I have said this before, but Im really love this current stage! Finn has become a dancing little parrot and learns new words and sayings every day! He now weighs 27 lbs and measures 35 inches with a whopper shoe size 7-8! Thank goodness he has alot of people that like to shop for him because he is constantly outgrowing his clothes.

He can speak pretty clearly for a 1 1/2 year old and can say when asked his name, age, Where he lives(sounds like thibobelle), sing all of the ABCs, counts to 10, and sings Rock a Bye Baby. He does a pretty good job at entertaining himself and i often hear him singing songs and talking but if he gets bored, he usually yells out, "Mom, Einstein"!!!!!! Thankfully, he hasn't repeated the "bad" words yet although I'm sure they are coming soon. He shocks steph and I and our families everyday!

We are enjoying all of his entertainment and although I like to call him my little angel(steph is quick to disagree) he does have many trying moments!!! He love love loves the word NO and is about to drive us nuts with it-He tells us NO for everything! He is quite stubborn and definitely has his daddys temper And last but not least, He still loves to take his nighttime bottle and still sleeps with us, two things we will be working on soon, I guess;)

All in all, I love this fat cheecked, long haired little boy so much and I still love to watch him sleep just as much as the first night we took him home. Can I please freeze time and keep him small?!?!?!

Our new toy!!!!

Finn (and Steph) got a new toy today....a Go-Cart!!!! Thanks to my Nannie, Uncle Chris, and Trent we now have a pretty cool toy to ride Finn on! Pretty wild I know for a 1 year old!

It all started on Sunday, Steph and I were telling my family how much Finn loved Stephs lawn mower and we jokingly said that we needed something easier for him to ride on! Nannie yelled out we have a go cart, its yours!!! Needless to say, we are pretty excited since both Steph and I have great memories of Go-carts in our younger days!

Finn loves it and smiled the entire ride!!!!! Watch out yall!
