First two STEPS!!!!

Today, of course, at my Mom and Dads house Finn took his first two steps!!!! Stephan and I have been practicing with him for the last couple of weeks and what do you know----he did it for them!! Mom didn't want to tell me but she nor Dad could hold it in so then they got on the ground with him and showed me!! It is true---my little boy stands by himself and walks!!! The countdown is on-----20 days until my precious baby boy turns 1!!!!! I couldn't be happier! He has reached so many milestones and it is a wonderful feeling!!! Yeah for Finn!!!!!

Do yall really think Finn looks like Stephan??? I have so many more pics of Steph when he was little! Mrs. Karen has been cleaning Marmee's house and she found two amazing photo albums that Marmee made of her beloved Stephan!!!! I know Mrs. Karen misses Marmee so much and so do we! She was such an amazing woman with so many talents and I just wish I would have had more time to learn from her. She even made her own photo albums of Steph---I told Mrs. Karen and Mom they better get to work, ha!!!!

Finn is learning to walk! He is walking behind and little walker and he is getting better and better at it! I have a few videos to upload especially of the first day that he started using the walker and I will do that soon!!!

Today, we just sat outside in the grass and enjoyed the sunshine! Finn wanted to help Steph with the trash so he walked with him.....too cute!!!

RagsLand!

So as most of you know, I love to shop and not only for myself---now that I have Finn I love buying him clothes and search everywhere to find the cutest things and in doing so I found Ragsland! For 24 years, Ragsland has created timeless designs with fantastic quality for children ages 6 months to 12 years old. It is filled with smocked, applique, embroidered and beautiful printed items and has two shows a year-Fall and Spring. It is kinda like pampered chef but for kids clothes so guess what----I am now a rep!! It is really pretty simple, I host parties or others can host parties and get great discounts!

I am having my first show this Friday at Sugar Boutique in Downtown Thibodaux! The owner, Beth, is a friend of mine and had been kind enough to allow me in her store to get the word out! 2nd Tooth!!!!!!

Finn cut his 2nd tooth today or should I say last night! Steph and I are pretty exhausted between Finn cutting teeth and having a cold!!! I do not have a pic yet because he does not like showing his two little daggers!!

Our little man is getting so big and I can not believe that he will be turning the big ONE is less than 30 days!!! Ahhhhhhh but you know what that means??? I get to plan another party so stay tuned on what we have going on with that!!!

EDW

I love this time of year! Fall and Football Season! We started ours off with a little EDW Spirit and brought Finn to his first EDW Pep Rally! Since Caroline teaches there, I actually got Joseph from day care and brought both boys to the Pep Rally! It was really fun to relive theexcitementof our High School Pep Rally. It was the Homecoming court announcement pep rally so that was really sentimental for me because that is when Stephan picked me and I "popped" out of the box and look what I found!! ha ha!! I can not believe that was 10 years ago!!!

The following week we went to the Thursday Night Homecoming Pep Rally to watch Nannie dance! Trent is a Senior this year so all of the Senior football Moms do a skit and it was really funny!! Again, it was fun being back but I have to say it makes me feel really really old...ughhhhh.....

Rough Couple of weeks!

I know I promised that I would back post so as Finn is asleep in my arms I will try! Let me start with August 23rd. After returning from our wonderful vacation in St. Martin we had alot of changes and now that weeks have gone by I can say with confidence that they are for the BETTER(no pun intended)!!!! I no longer work at The Final Touch Spa, surprised you might be saying to yourself, yes, I was quite surprised myself, but now that I am writing after the fact I am THANKING the GOOD LORD! I will not bore you will all of the nasty details just know that I am in a much better place! Like my momma told me, Ashley do not worry about a thing---- God and your family will take care of you and they most certainly did!!

So for more exciting news.......................I am very proud to say that I am now working for BETTER WASTE ----my dad, father in law, and byron talbot's dumpster company, again you may be thinking to yourself okay this is weird......she is going from skincare to trash...hmmmmm but I have to say that it has been a easy transition and I could not be happier. It is a wonderful work environment unlike my previous job and allows me to use many of my wonderful skills..ha ha!! Better Waste has been in business for 5 years offering Roll Off dumpsters and has just recently expanded to Front Loader dumpsters so I am doing a little bit of everything--sales, marketing, etc--whatever they need me to do!!!

So looking back, the last few months were very hard but needed to happen to show me that things happen for a reason and to get me out of that place!! Thank you to all of my wonderful family and friends that had to listen to me cry for weeks about how sad I was to leave the spa---You guys are the best and I could not have gotten through this madness without you. And to my sweet hubby...thanks for being my rock.....we got through another pothole!!!!!

Oh and if you are wondering, currently I am not doing skincare treatments but that will not be for long--you know I already have a few things up my sleeve so stay posted!!!!!
