Nola Lunch!

Since Caroline was off of school this week we decided to visit Courtney and Kendall in New Orleans for lunch! It was the first car trip for Caroline and I with our boys and I have to say it was a success! Now that we attempted our first trip it will be the first trip of many....can't wait to do it again!

We laughed at how small a big car can get with two car seats, I have a Yukon and by the time we were done with our shopping for the day there was no room left. Caroline and I are thinking with Holly's baby on the way one of us may have to get a big van....will that be your next car Caroline???? ha!!

So on another note, I wanted to let everyone know where we went to lunch! I am a foodie along with Kendall and we love, love to research restaurants. Kendall and Courtney go to SLICE pretty often and I would too if we had anything like it in boring food town of Thibodaux!!!

Slice can be found online at http://www.slicepizzeria.com/. It is a cute pizza joint where you can order pizza by the slice!!!! Isn't that amazing? I got a slice of their "Fresh" Pizza which has tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella cheese for $2.50 while Caroline got a White Pie with shrimp and onions! I could have ordered 3 slices of pizza all with different toppings! You can get a whole pie if you want but if you and a friend just wanted to grab a slice you can go there and get just that and a glass of wine for under $10! Why oh Why can't we just have a couple of cool restaurants in Thibodaux? Thank goodness we live very close to NOLA!
