Giving up the ugly NOONIE!

Just wanted all of you to see that Finn is moving on to cute noonies....not that any noonie is cute but we are finally over the soothie! As you can tell, I am very excited about this! Before he was born, I bought tons of cute noonies with his name on them and now he finally likes them. Old noonies saved for the next bebe, new noonie in the mouth!! Yeah!

I hope everyone stays warm....I am on my 2nd cup of coffee and searching the freezer for some soup.......

10 Weeks

Okay so I missed weeks 5-10 but its been hectic with going back to work! ha...it's two days a week I know not full time but it's still hard to get out the door, bring Finn to my mom or Mrs. Karens, to work, back to pick him up, feed him, feed stephan and i, clean (a little) and to bed! Gosh my days go by so quickly but I dare not complain when I see that smiling face! Finn is growing by the second and now that I am working it seems that he grows every time I leave him!

He had his 2 month check up last week and it went well as he now weighs 12 1/2 lbs and is measuring 24 inches! Big Boy!!!

Since I have missed so many weeks..... I will give you all a little update on what my little man likes:

1. His MILK!! He drinks a 5 oz bottle of breast milk 6 times a day and sometimes still wants more! My mom gave him the nickname little piglet so that's what he is known as around here!

2. He is absolutely in love with his HANDS right now! He sucks one finger, two fingers, and sometimes he tries to put his entire fist in his mouth! It is hilarious--you wouldn't believe some of the sounds the boy makes!

3. His THUMB--- Ahhhhhh a thumb sucker I never would have guessed! He hardly takes his noonie now and only wants his thumb......any help on this would be greatly appreciated!!

4. His TONGUE---Finn loves to stick out his tongue all day long! It seems like its too big to fit into his mouth so he just lets it hang out!

5. His BATHTIME--He loves when we drip warm water on his belly! He giggles and smiles the entire time!!

Christmas 2009!

We had a wonderful Christmas and I feel incredibly blessed this year! With a new baby, I look at everything so differently now. I am so thankful that we are surrounded by our family and friends who are such loving and giving people. Finn was great for Christmas! We made it to Christmas mass at Nicholls but we were not able to stay due to a bottle crisis! It was definitely one for the books.....now I can laugh about it! Let me just say it involved Stephan, Finn, a bottle, and a bathroom floor....not good! We later went to Mom and Dads for our annual Christmas Eve celebration with the Raynals and anyone else that likes to drop it! Christmas Morning was a fun one! Stephan, Finn, Chloe, and I went to my Mom and Dads in our matching pj's....yes even the dog..you will see in the pics below! If you are interested....mom found them at www.pajamagram.com-i loved them!! Finn got lots of great things including CDs that sing with his name Finn...they are so cute and he loves them! I got a great surprise too....mom and dad gave me a MAC desktop and I was totally surprised and soo excited! This explains my blog updates and new love for the interenet!!!!

The day closed out with a trip to Belle Rose to see the Gravois then back to Thiboadux to see The Raynals! All in all, the day was fantastic and Finn was GREAT! With all the traveling and moving from hand to hand he was a complete angel!

Week 4 Aunt Myra's Wedding!

A little out of order but here is Week 4!

Week 4 was a big week for all of us! Aunt Myra and Bill.....i should now call him Uncle Bill but I just can't....finally got married! We have been looking forward to this day for a long time and it came and went too quickly!

Finn was in New Orleans the entire time in the very excited hands of his Granny K , Papa, and Nannie! He did very well and had a ton of first including his first trip to Bourbon Street along with metting lots of new people!!

Congrats Aunt Myra and Uncle Bill! We had so much fun!!

Baptism

Finn's Baptism was at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. He are a few pictures at the church with Father Jay and Finn in his gown. My grandmother, MawMaw, made this gown by hand when she was pregnant for my mom---so it is 49 years old! Sorry mom for giving your age away but that it pretty incredible! Thanks MawMaw for your many talents.
