big boy loves the garden.....

Stephan, my big boy, LOVES his plants and our yard,....I think he likes them better than me sometimes....he spends hours with his plants outside! haha No but really he definitely has a green thumb with true Italian blood running through his veins because everything he touches GROWS beautifully!!! He orders crazy plants from Hawaii and all over the US and they turn out to actually grow into beautiful plants and flowers!!! Im amazed! I know what you are probably thinking...Stephan, really in the yard, loving flowers......ha I know exactly what I thought. I do not know anything about flowers, the only thing I know is that I like white flowers in my yard and love all hydrangeas. As you can imagine, Steph gets a little frustrated with me--surprise surprise. I do not know the names of anything (except my fav hydrangeas which I have learned only do well in the shade, ugh) and repeatedly ask what is this flower and can this one be in the sun..........so now you can understand why I have very little to do with the yard. I can't say this about anything else but Steph DOES IT ALL and does a fantastic job!! Thank for all the sweat and hard work!!!

So while Daddy is sweating his little butt away in this crazy summer sun Finn, Chloe, and I like to watch him weed and plant so here a few pics of one beautiful afternoon. It used to be so easy to put Finn in a place and take a pictures.....NOT anymore....he is constantly on the move and so is Chloe!!

I can't believe it has been over a month since my last post! Wow, like I seems to always say now time flies!!!!! The last few weeks have been very busy and a bit complicated yet again! A few weeks ago on May 20th (Thursday night) my mom brokes 6 ribs.....ouch you are probaly saying and ooouuuuuchhhhh is right! She and my dad were at our new camp in Grand Isle and she took a wrong step around the boat deck, fell into the water, and hit her left side. At first, she didn't think she was severly hurt but after a long trip back to Thibodaux and to see Frank Robichaux he confirmed 4 broken ribs......the next day she went to the ER for her breathing and they found 2 more broken ribs and 2 of them are broken in 2 places.....God help us. Needless to say, she is not very happy about this. She is such an active women and being confined to a recliner and her house is not her idea of a great start to the Summer so please keep her in your prayers.....not only for her healing but for her sanity...haha!!!!

All in all, she is healing well.......we are just thankful that it is just broken ribs:)

The next day May 21st Finn and I headed to Baton Rouge for Connor's graduation (Aunt Donnas baby boy) from Catholic High. It was great and we spent Sunday around their gorgeous pool at their home in St. Francisville......I wish it were closer because we would be there alot more!!!!!! It was Finns first time in a pool and he had a blast.....he did not even mind getting his face wet which I figured from the way he loves bathtime!!! Nannie and I even put him under the water and he came up with a smile!!!!

I am so excited that my boy loves the water!!!! We are starting water-baby swimming lessons soon with our friend Vera so I can't wait to see how he reacts to learning about the water!!!!!

Brunch and Shower in Nola!

On Sunday, Finn and I headed to NOLA to have Brunch with the girls and go to a Bridal Shower for Michelle, Stephs cousin. We met Kendall, Courtney, and Alyce at cute little place called Cafe Atchafalaya, http://www.cafeatchafalaya.com/. I had fried green tomaotes, a poached egg with fresh crabmeat and hollandaise sauce....yummy but Kendall had the winning dish, a Bananas Foster French Toast!!! Thanks for introducing me girls! Finn had a great time with his Aunties!!!!

Then we moved to Lakeview to meet up with Mrs Karen and Nicole at Michele's bridal shower. Michele is Mrs. Karens niece and it was so great to visit with all of the girls in the family. Like always Finn was hamming it up for all of the ladies and loved the camera! It was great to visit with

Riding around!

So I HATE Walmart, really I despise going there! I used to LOVE it in my younger on my mommas bill days but now that I have to pay it myself .......the love is not so great!! I spend way to much time and money in that store and just can't help but pass by the toy and baby section where I always pick up something new for Finn! This weekend I found this new toy! A walker/riding car thing! There are soooo many toys and my house is literally FULL of them that I am now making a play room(ahhhh so excited about a new project but that will be in another post) so soon enough we will have more room for all of these toys.
Finn loves any new toy his Momma buys him and is getting used to this one! It turns into a walker so hopefully he will be using it in no time!!
