It's Carnival Time!!!!! Oh how I love Mardi Gras.....My Parrain Fred, my dad's brother, is a wonderful cajun cook who loves to do it right, South Louisiana style! He even has his own cajun cabin in his back yard and Finn finally had the opportunity to pay him a visit! Since it is Mardi Gras and nearly freezing outside he made a big ol pot of gumbo and it was real good yall. It was a great visit with the McDonald clan and of course it was filled with live music, great food, and lots of laughter. Thanks again Parrain! Can't wait to eat it again tomorrow, ha!
