Just a typical day in our neighborhood! Hunter, Isabelle, and Finn usually get to see each other every other day so it gives the Moms and Dads time to chat, relax, and enjoy an adult beverage while the kids entertain themselves! It's so nice to have such a great group of friends to be around on a daily basis! Being around all of the kids is definitely teaching Finn how to share and hopefully how to become a great big brother one day....soon:)
So......Stephan's garden has finally started to produce veggies and we are somewhat living off the land these days, LOL! We have been eating fresh cucumbers, eggplant, tomatoes, green beans, banana peppers, okra, and basil! I'm enjoying experimenting with different recipes for eggplants and can not wait until Caroline teaches me how to can!! She and her mom have been some canning addicts lately!
Of course, Finn loves to help his Dad water the garden and pick veggies but yesterday he was not interested in watering and only had mud on the mind! All he wanted to do was step in the mud and eventually became a full blown muddy mess! Gotta love a true cajun, huh yall???
